Today YOU quoted scripture to me when you were facing the choice to obey or not. We’ve been working on first time obedience.  One time this afternoon, you started to complain and then caught yourself midsentence and corrected your response. Then a short bit after that, you actually said to me “Do all things without complaining or disputing” (Philippians 2:14) when you wanted to complain. This makes me so proud. Hide His words deep in your heart, so you can apply them when you are faced with decisions.

You also read your first decodable mini book. I am so surprised and proud. You are really building your site word  collection. Your confidence and interest has really increased over the past few weeks. You are soaking in every knew bit of information you are presented…at school and at home.

What a great start to two lifelong skills!
