We had 4 year old/preschool and 12 or 15 month check-ups this past month. Mmmm, yea, it was really a great time! (NOT!!!)
Fuzz stats: 22 lbs. – 31” – slightly below 50th percentile in all areas. Dr. Ben ordered a hearing test because she doesn’t have 7-10 words. He wonders if the several weeks to months (around June-ish) that she had fluid in her ears has impacted her speech development. I’m not having it done yet, I’m waiting. 4 shots and it was really sad, but was fine quickly.
Rea stats: 30 lbs. – 40” – slightly below the 25th percentile. 6 shots and a finger prick! Oh holy horribleness. She is my child…she was super concerned and sad because of the unknown. She kept saying “ow. ow. ow.” when the shots were happening. She was also fine quickly because she knew our next stop was CFA for a milkshake. She was good for a while when we got home, then about 5:00, things went down hill….achy, low-grade fever, yucky, and miserable. Sad girl for the night. Daddy was gone for the night, so that added to the sadness. She was good by the next morning, except she was limping. I think it was a combination of the band-aids annoying her and her thighs being sore.
