Celebrating 7!

JMA and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary with a trip to a new stop... St. Augustine! We were looking for something different, a place we haven't been together, and less than 5 hours away. We left RCA, but took RJA.

I picked JMA up from work on Thursday afternoon and headed north. First stop, dinner....we decided to try a new place, Sinigual, conveniently located ACROSS the sidewalk from Cheesecake Factory.

After dinner, we picked up banana cream cheesecake and raspberry something.

We continued on (after another game of "search for a Starbucks") and arrived at our desitination late that night. The next morning we ventured out to the Old Jail to catch a trolley tour.
The tour consisted of 20+ stops that you could hop on and off at any of them. Our plan was to take the trolley, get off at the stop closest to our lunch destination, hop back on and finish. This gave us a great idea of the area and places we may want to visit later on our own. This was such a good idea and we will definitely do it again.

Our first stop... Castillo de San Marcos

Another stop on the tour, but we didn't get off...
We had a FANTASTIC lunch at a tiny, hole-in-the-wall place called Schmagel's Bagel.
Then to The Hyppo for locally made gourmet popsicles.
(Both locations were recommended by TripAdvisor)
Oldest schoolhouse, I think.

Super hot, but a trooper!

These sign things were all over and I was really drawn to them.

We went on a date to the Columbia Restaurant. I ordered mahi and sangria for the first time in my life and they were both delicious!
Sweet little date tag-along.

We visited Whetstone Chocolates on two different occasions. Here we were getting gelato.
Reagan was way more excited to see Rileigh than us when we got home. She greeted her by putting yarn on Rileigh's forehead from the craft she made at church that morning and shining the new piggy flashlight on her.
